Rapid traces in haste and repetition convey an inherent need to capture a moment.

Against the black matte paper, gold traces absorb and reflect light creating depth and movement in a contrast of perception, suggesting the presence of an ancient liminal being.

A serie of 20 large scale drawings with dry pastel, I offer a gander at chaos entrapped within magnified rhythmic lines, suggestive of the organic fluctuations of landscapes and wildlife. Equilibrium is materialised through the reassurance of repetition and cycles.

The Blue Collection is a study of natural metamorphosis through the lifecycle of an egg. From creation to birth, I capture the chaos and stillness that shape the narrative of our entrance to this existence.

In a homage to the ever-fluctuating elements of our micro and macro cosmos, raw canvas is exhausted to manipulate form and texture through a rigorous process of painting, folding and layering.

C’est avant tout un travail spontané en rapport aux événements. les attentats du 13 novembre 2015. Une expression totalement libre, faire des images... des gestes mélant le médium de la photographie et du dessin. L’expression du dessin donne à voir la représentation du parcours inscrit sur l’image révélant l’anonymat du quotidien et du lieu. Ce geste témoin d’un destin modifié, la trace d’un parcours banal qui par ailleurs représente le calque du hasard sur la réalité de la photographie. Chaque lieu aussi dérisoire qu’il soit peut être soudainement modifié, chaque destin peut être changé. La trace est le point de rencontre. C’est avec un regard libre que nous voulions témoigner et accorder nos écritures. Révélé le mouvement du geste de la marche soulignant la liberté de circuler dans une ville. Une ville vivante et animée par un quotidien libre, faire voir le parcours des gens dans des lieux anonymes.”

Inspired by the pirouette of vines against the alluring landscapes of the Médoc region of France, I reimagine the synergetic flow of the vines in fluid gestures. Reflective of the rich hues of the region’s earth and flora, the intense pigments and bold lines speak to the intricate yet fragile process of vinification; often at the mercy of the natural forces of the land.
